Our Facility

Our brand new 12,000-square-foot center is positioned on the east side of the current MICAH House property. The Florence M Lakin Child Development Center has capacity to serve 70 children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. We have 6 beautiful classroom environments to support a positive learning community.

Our Serenity room is available to provide a calming space for children who have high sensory, social-emotional needs. This room can also be used for our community partners to provide any needed services like Physical, Mental, and Behavioral therapies with adjoining offices to meet with caregivers and children.

Our indoor gymnasium and outdoor playgrounds will provide our students with space to practice gross motor collaborative play regardless of the weather or time of year.
